Risks and Challenges

No project is without risk and challenges but we try to do our absolute best to minimize them. The CleansBox that you see in the pictures and videos on this page is working prototype. We have done all the necessary preliminary work, but there is still plenty of work for us to do as we proceed with mass production. With your support we can bring CleansBox to users worldwide and your contributions will make it possible for us to achieve economies of scale and keep our production costs low. We should deliver out rewards at the August 2020 as long as everything goes according to plan.

• What shipping service we are using?To ensure timely CleansBox delivery, we will ship CleansBox via insured postal service (DHL, FedEx, USPS) from fulfillment location in USA and China. Most of the perks will use Container shipping to ship to the destination country or city and then use the local post office or shipping services to get the CleansBox to your home.

 

• How long does it take to ship to our place?We will ship it via Container. For US residents, it will take 20-30 days for standard shipping. For the EU, it will take 25-35 days for standard shipping, plus another 3-5 days for local delivery to your door by local shipping services.

 

• Is there VAT, duties or fees related to shipping?For container shipment order to US/EU/AU/CA area, we will pay the tax. Our courier had worked on dozens crowdfunding projects which went smoothly through fulfillment. Under our arrangement, it won't entail additional costs for you under most circumstances. Despite that, the fact we're shipping directly from China may still impose a chance for further inspection and determination by the customs. The VAT, duties and fees vary by country. Please message us about the specifics.

 

• What's the warranty for CleansBox?CleansBox provides a 12-month warranty on Indiegogo orders, same as retail.

 

• When will the CleansBox be delivered? We have moved into the production stage and we will have the first 2000 units of CleansBox ready around the second week of August. Then we will continue the mass production.

 

• What is the return policy?We have a 30-day return policy. If your CleansBox is defective or a manufacturer error after opening, you can return it for a refund or exchange. However, if it is working properly, it cannot be returned once it is opened and used, due to potential cross-contamination issues. The CleansBox does have a one year warranty for any issues you experience in the first 12 months.
