Building a school is hard work -
What you'll help build and what good it'll do
The school will be build in the village of Tulshibaru in the district of Gopalganj. Tulshibaru is located in a less developed and lowland area, which means that most of the land is underwater for approximately 9 months every year, it makes it one of Bangladesh’s most disadvantaged areas. The area is very poor and the population does not have access to proper cultural and educational facilities.
Approximately 5000 people are living in Tulshibaru and its surrounding area, only 40% of the population are literate - able to read and write.
In order to decrease the poverty and illiteracy rates it is crucial that the children in the community get access to a place where they can receive quality education and feel safe no matter the season.
The new school in bulletpoints
- The new school will contain at least 10 rooms; classrooms, a teacher's room, and an admin room.
- Each room will be approximately 20 feet wide and 30 feet long.
- There will be 7 toilets; 3 for girls, 3 for boys and one for school staff.
- The School will benefit 150-160 students in the area within the age range of 5 to 12-year-olds.
- 8 teachers will be teaching at the school including the subjects of arts, dance, and music.
Why build a school?
We believe that all children should be able to create the future they dream of having. By providing children with the ability to write, read and basic math skills you give them valuable tools to move forward in life.
Lack of access to quality education is one of the root causes to why poverty is being passed down from generation to generation.
In poor and rural areas schools are the main place where communities learn about hygiene and sanitation practices. By improving hygiene and sanitation reduces the risk of disease spread of diarrhea and other serious diseases tremendously. Additionally, when children no longer are sick from consuming contaminated food or water, they are able to attend school more often and focus on their studies.
Children are the ones that are mostly impacted by education, and they will take their knowledge and hygiene practices home and teach the rest of their family members.

The Backers Wall -
How we celebrate your support
All the children just love to know who have helped building the school for them and their future. Therefore we want to make a 'Backers Wall' at the school. So when purchasing a b’fair e-bike you will also have a “Backers Wall Plate” that will have your name and home country stated. The wall will have a World Map in the middle that way the school children can learn, see and reflect on where around the world people who helped build the school live. If you wish to stay anonymous, please state this at checkout. The wall will look something like this:

And now the time has finally come to introduce the world to the newest member of our b'fair family: The b'fair e-bike.
